EVERY YEAR, IT SEEMS LIKE HALLOWEEN GETS JUST A LITTLE BIGGER. AND THIS YEAR, PERHAPS MORE THAN EVER, WE’RE LOOKING TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THE HOLIDAY! CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME ROUND-UP OF IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR OWN DIY DISNEY HALLOWEEN COSTUME!
Have you noticed that in the past few years, Halloween is kind of a big deal? As in, it’s quickly becoming some people’s favourite holiday! For me, it’s definitely still Christmas, but I am enjoying the spooky spectres more and more each year! And this year is no exception. So for all of you that are ready for some trick-or-treating, whatever that looks like for you, you might need a costume. And what could be better than a DIY DISNEY Halloween costume? Not much!
Ever since I can remember, I’ve enjoyed creating my own costumes. There have been years that I’ve popped into Value Village, Walmart or some such store and bought myself a costume. But my favourites have always been handmade. When my daughter was born, however, her costumes were either handmade or from Disneyland and sometimes a combination of the two. Over the years, I’ve been the mom of Snow White, Minnie Mouse, Alice, Mulan and Elizabeth Swann on October 31. How fun is that? Now that she’s older, there are fewer opportunities to dress up, but we still enjoy it nonetheless.
This year, I’ve been looking for some new inspiration, so I reached out to some fellow bloggers and Disney fans, and boy oh boy, they did not disappoint!
