FROM STREET CARTS TO FINE DINING, THERE’S NO SHORTAGE OF FOOD OPTIONS IN THE PARKS OF THE DISNEYLAND RESORT!  BUT WHAT ABOUT WHEN YOU HAVE FUSSY PALATES IN YOUR GROUP?  CHECK OUT OUR TOP 5 BEST DISNEYLAND RESTAURANTS FOR PICKY EATERS AND SATISFY EVERYONE’S TASTEBUDS!

Are you planning a trip to Disneyland with a picky eater?  Before heading into the park, you’ll want to check out our list of the top 5 best Disneyland restaurants for picky eaters.  Avoid getting stuck wondering where you might eat, especially if you don’t have reservations!

As a self-proclaimed picky eater, I have just the information you need!  Finding places to eat on vacation can be tough – trust me on this one.  Not everyone has the same tastes and long waits can make food decisions very difficult for anyone.  Adding in a selective taste palate makes the choice even tougher.  Trust me when I say that I know the frustration of checking every menu board in the parks until I was satisfied with a safe choice!  Of course, the rest of your party can enjoy their meals too!

All the restaurants on my list fall under the quick-service category in the Disneyland Resort.  I find that while the menus at these locations might be a little smaller than in the sit-down restaurants, they have items that are perpetual crowd pleasers!  A quick note on the sit-down restaurants throughout the Resort, though.  Generally speaking, they all offer a kids’ menu with some fairly basic selections.  You can usually find pasta, chicken nuggets or cheeseburgers.  To be sure that you can find what you like, pop over to the Official Disneyland site and check out their menus online.

Even now, with many of the Resort’s menus offering limited options, you can still please a picky palate with my choices!

So let’s take a look at my personal picks for the 5 best Disneyland restaurants for picky eaters!

Alien Pizza Planet

My first pick on this list goes to the Alien Pizza Planet, located in Tomorrow Land.  Out of this world pizzas, different types of pasta, and delicious fresh salads have all of the basics covered at this quick-service restaurant! The perfect selection for all your little aliens, and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed!  My personal favourite is the Countdown Chicken Fusili, with the Cheese Pizza coming in a close second.

Award Wieners

The second choice on my list is an iconic hot-dog stand.  Award Wieners is located in Hollywood Land over in Disney California Adventure Park.  Award Wieners offers a plain all-beef hot dog, making it a winner in any picky eater’s eyes!  For those that aren’t as picky, I recommend the Bacon Street Dog, my personal favourite!  My mom ALWAYS gets the plain dog, mustard only!  Grab a seat in the shade and enjoy.  You might even finish up in time to catch the next showing of Mickey’s Phil-Harmagic!

Flo’s V8 Cafe

Next on my list is Flo’s V8 Cafe, located in Cars Land, again in Disney California Adventure.  With a delicious variety of dishes to choose from, this restaurant is sure to please everyone!  I personally LOVE the Ramone’s Low & Slow Club sandwich.  They’ve got some classic American fare, like the Ka-Cheeseburger and of course, fried chicken and milkshakes.  No one will be going hungry at this stop.

An extra tip on this venue: be sure to sit outside around the back and catch a glimpse of the cars on the speedway at Radiator Springs Racers!

The Golden Horseshoe

Back in Disneyland, my fourth spot goes to the Golden Horseshoe, located in Frontierland.  They currently have a small selection of classics to choose from.  My personal favourite is the Chicken Tenders, and my mom LOVES their Fish & Chips.  PLUS, this western restaurant offers some pretty hilarious entertainment, so there’s something to please everyone!

The Red Rose Taverne

Last, but certainly not least, my fifth and final pick is the Red Rose Taverne, located in Fantasyland inside Disneyland Park.  This quick-service location has a Beauty and the Beast theme and is quickly becoming my favourite spot for breakfast inside the park.  The Red Rose Taverne is home to the best fries in the park (in my opinion)!  The selection ranges from classic burgers to French-inspired cuisine, and is the perfect blend on a menu to please every member of your family!  This location also offers numerous allergy-friendly dishes.  Be sure to order the Grey Stuff – it’s delicious!  (If you don’t believe me, ask the dishes).

There you have it – my top 5 best Disneyland restaurants for picky eaters!  Make sure to try each and every one of them on your next visit, and let us know which restaurants YOUR picky eaters love!
